Many of these amplifiers from the A4, A6, Q7 and others come to us for repair, typically with water damage!

From our understanding, either the sunroof drains block, or the rear window washer pipe leaks, and dribbles all over the components in the rear left or right corner. Unfortunately, the amplifier, which is on the top, wears most of the water.

The most typical fault with these units are:

• No sound at all

• Intermittent sound

• Sound fades out quickly, within seconds
